Remote Air Defense Gun Turret Wargame Scenery 25-30mm Scale

This scenery piece represents a remote air defense gun turret.

Commonly erected as perimeter anti-aircraft defense weapons around secure military sites and controlled by a central fire command.

This weapons turret sports two heavy cannons.

It has a targeting sensor array mounted on top of the guns.

The turret actually swivels 360 degrees.

Designed for 25 to 30 mm scale wargame miniatures as shown in the photos, but could also be used as a larger weapons tower for 15 to 20 mm scale games. This scenery piece measures about 3-1/2 inches (90 mm) tall. The base is 2-3/4 x 2-3/8 inches (70 x 60 mm).

New Store Finished

You probably have noticed that I have not posted recently. I have been spending most of my time migrating my web store to its new location.  The transfer went smoothly, but it was very time-consuming.  Now that the new store is open, I hope to find some time for building terrain and scenery again. Vortex Generators for the Miniature Mad Scientist's Lab 25 to 28 mm Scale Scenery

It has been way too long since my last update.  So let's bring in the Vortex Generators into the laboratory!

In our first scenery piece, a great humming issues from the primary vortex coil situated at the left of the Vortex Generator unit! As power builds, unearthly lights flash from the interior of the coil.

The second piece is a Field Amplifier. Drawing power from the Vortex Power Coil above, this unit concentrates the transdimensional forces into a more controllable focused matrix. Well, at least that is the plan! The central mechanism begins to rotate as the forces are fed into the unit, quickly building to a point where the core becomes a blur!

 

Both scenery pieces measure about 4inches (105 mm) in length. They are designed for use with 25-28mm scale miniature figures. More lab equipment for your mad scientist!

Our Mad Scientist Acquires Some New Laboratory Equipment

It looks as if our mad scientist has received some new equipment for his laboratory!

We have to wonder what universal secrets he is trying to master with his latest experiments.

These 25-28mm scale scenery pieces could find a home in many science fiction scenarios.

Smaller Laboratory Equipment for the Mad Scientist's Lair 25-28mm Scale Scenery

Here is an assortment of some smaller scale scenery pieces of equipment that could be used in your mad scientist's lair, in an industrial setting, or even on board a starship.

These little bits are nice to scatter about the game table.  You can use them as specific victory objectives (the hero has to move to the death ray control module to destroy it, the space pirates boarding party needs to access the ship security system to disable it, and so on).

Or they can be used simply as additional cover to protect your troops from enemy fire.

These scenery pieces are suitable for use with 15mm to 30mm scale miniatures in a variety of war game universes including science fiction, mad science, horror, pulp action, modern and more.

Semi-Arid Desert Terrain Pieces for Minature War Games in 15 to 30 mm Scale

Here are some semi-arid desert terrain pieces I recently created for a customer's special order.

 
The groundwork is a reddish-brown with light highlights.

 
A sparse layer of vegetation covers the top surfaces. I chose a light colored vegetation to represent the drier scrub that relies heavily on the few brief days of seasonal rain, but which lays dormant for much of the year.

 
The terrain pieces are all 1 inch (25 mm) thick. They range in size from 3 x 3 inches (75 x 75 mm) to 8 x 5 (200 x 125 mm). They can be used with varying miniature scales from 15 mm through 30 mm.
