Industrial Storage Towers for Science Fiction War Games in 15mm to 28mm Scale

Industrial sites make for interesting battlefields in many science fiction miniature war games.  Here is a batch of industrial terrain pieces that I recently completed.

These structures are generic enough to fit in many game scenarios. They could represent storage tanks or processing towers in all sorts of manufacturing sites.

They range in height from 3-3/4 inches (95 mm) to 5-3/4 inches (145 mm). Each base measures 2-3/4 x 2-3/8 inches (70 x 60 mm).

The 25mm scale miniature figure shown in the first pictures gives an idea of size. The pieces could be used with 15mm scale miniatures to represent very large terrain.

Mad Science Steampunk Laboratory Equipment 25-28 mm Scale Game Scenery

Boilers, pipes, and steam, oh my! Here is a piece of laboratory machinery using steam as its power system.

The flow of steam power is controlled by multiple valves.

Heated steam is stored in the boiler at the left side.

This scenery piece is designed for 25 to 28 mm scale miniatures. It could be featured in a steampunk mad scientist laboratory.

Mad Science Transmorgrification Ray Laboratory Equipment Scenery 25-28mm

Something new is in the laboratory.

 Great Scott! What type of vile experimentation has been going on in the lab?

Apparently our scientific friends has developed a transmogrification ray.

 And he has moved from manipulating the atomic structure of small furry mammals to humans.

 By the restraining straps on the lab table, it looks like he has had to "persuade" his test subjects to be part of his experiments.

Halloween is just around the corner and this scenery piece is devoted to the mad scientists of the classic horror movies.  A natural addition to the laboratory.  Designed for 25-28mm scale miniatures.

Quad Barrel Remote Gun Turret for Anti-Aircraft Defense 25 to 30mm Scale War Game Scenery

Sometimes you just need a little extra firepower on the game table!

This remote weapons turret sports four heavy cannons capable of sending a high quantity of deadly firepower down range.

Primarily designed for use in an anti-aircraft defensive role for site protection.

It is also effective against enemy armored land vehicles and can lay down a devastating heavy barrage against massed assault troops.

The gun turret swivels a full 360 degrees.

The turret stands approximately 2-3/4 inches (70 mm) tall with a measures that measures 2-3/4 x 2-3/8 inches (70 x 60 mm).

Designed for use with 25 to 30 mm scale war game miniature figures in science fiction games such as Warhammer 40K™ and Warmachine™.

Vertical Storage Tanks or Processing Towers Wargame Scenery 25-28mm Scale

Can you ever have enough industrial scenery for your game board? Probably not. Industrial machinery lends itself to all sorts of game scenarios.

These two scenery pieces represent vertical storage tanks or perhaps industrial processing towers.

The taller structure stands about 5-3/4 inches (145 mm) tall.

The smaller tank stands 4 inches (112 mm) in height. The bases of both measure about 2-3/4 x 2-3/8 inches (70 x 60 mm). Designed for use with 25 to 28 mm scale miniature gaming figures as shown in the pictures.

Scenery pieces like these are pretty versatile and can be used in many science fiction and super hero games. They can be used to expand an industrial complex such as a mining colony. They would fit in with any mad scientist's lair.  Their small footprints allow them to be used in even small game boards.

Remote Air Defense Gun Turret Wargame Scenery 25-30mm Scale

This scenery piece represents a remote air defense gun turret.

Commonly erected as perimeter anti-aircraft defense weapons around secure military sites and controlled by a central fire command.

This weapons turret sports two heavy cannons.

It has a targeting sensor array mounted on top of the guns.

The turret actually swivels 360 degrees.

Designed for 25 to 30 mm scale wargame miniatures as shown in the photos, but could also be used as a larger weapons tower for 15 to 20 mm scale games. This scenery piece measures about 3-1/2 inches (90 mm) tall. The base is 2-3/4 x 2-3/8 inches (70 x 60 mm).

New Store Finished

You probably have noticed that I have not posted recently. I have been spending most of my time migrating my web store to its new location.  The transfer went smoothly, but it was very time-consuming.  Now that the new store is open, I hope to find some time for building terrain and scenery again. So I should be posting again in the near future.

Vortex Generators for the Miniature Mad Scientist's Lab 25 to 28 mm Scale Scenery

It has been way too long since my last update.  So let's bring in the Vortex Generators into the laboratory!

In our first scenery piece, a great humming issues from the primary vortex coil situated at the left of the Vortex Generator unit! As power builds, unearthly lights flash from the interior of the coil.

The second piece is a Field Amplifier. Drawing power from the Vortex Power Coil above, this unit concentrates the transdimensional forces into a more controllable focused matrix. Well, at least that is the plan! The central mechanism begins to rotate as the forces are fed into the unit, quickly building to a point where the core becomes a blur!

 

Both scenery pieces measure about 4inches (105 mm) in length. They are designed for use with 25-28mm scale miniature figures. More lab equipment for your mad scientist!
