Small Ruined Shrines Miniature War Game Scenery in 25-28mm Scale
A narrow worn track winds its way through desolate country. Sloping into a wide valley, the traveler comes upon signs that something man made once stood here. Scattered about the central clearing, small bits of building debris hint that the area was once the site of a religious temple. Possibly a monastery stood here, but it has since fallen into ruin.
Here is a small mound of building blocks slowly being hidden by the encroaching grass. This terrain piece is only 3/4 inches (19 mm) tall. Its base measures 2 inches (50 mm) in diameter.
Another terrain piece represents a standing portion of the temple. Although grass covers its foot along with a few fallen blocks, enough of the original section remains. This piece stands 1-7/8 inches (47 mm) in height with a base that is 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) across.
The armored knight figure is a 25-28mm miniature for scale comparison. These types of ruins could work with many game genres from fantasy, historical, pulp and even science fiction.
