Miniature Industrial Scenery For 25-28mm Scale Table Top War Games - Storage Tank, Generator and More
Industrial settings make great sites for miniature gaming combat scenarios. Here are three scenery pieces that could be used in many industrial areas.
First up is a standard vertical storage tank, T577. A supply pipe fills the tank from near the top. A valve allows the contents to be drawn from the bottom of the tank. Access plates are located on the top and lower rear. Multiple corroded areas show the tank has been in place for some time and is need of more regular maintenance. The storage tank stands approximately 2-3/4 inches (69 mm) in height.
Next we have a general industrial processing unit, T578. Pipes at the rear allow the flow of liquids or gases through the unit. A vent near the top allows byproduct gases to be shunted to the surrounding air space. Although this unit is better maintained and there are no signs of corrosion, there are the expected smudges and grime found in many manufacturing environments. The unit has a height of about 2-7/8 inches (74 mm).
Finally, there is the T579 Power Generator Plant. Twin turbines produce electrical power. The process is controlled by the linked control console. The turbines are about 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) tall.
All three scenery pieces are mounted on bases measuring 3 x 3 inches (75 x 75 mm). For gaming purposes, they are compatible with 25 to 28 mm scale miniatures. Pieces of equipment like these can be suitable for most modern and near future miniature table top war games.
