Semi-Arid Desert Terrain Pieces for Minature War Games in 15 to 30 mm Scale
Here are some semi-arid desert terrain pieces I recently created for a customer's special order.
The groundwork is a reddish-brown with light highlights.
A sparse layer of vegetation covers the top surfaces. I chose a light colored vegetation to represent the drier scrub that relies heavily on the few brief days of seasonal rain, but which lays dormant for much of the year.
The terrain pieces are all 1 inch (25 mm) thick. They range in size from 3 x 3 inches (75 x 75 mm) to 8 x 5 (200 x 125 mm). They can be used with varying miniature scales from 15 mm through 30 mm.

Here are a couple of industrial machinery scenery pieces finished in a military drab green color scheme.
They can be added to a military installation such as a research station or a supply depot.
The first piece stands about 3-1/2 inches (90 mm) tall. The second is 3-3/8 inches (85 mm) in height. Both bases measure 2-3/4 x 2-3/8 inches (70 x 60 mm).
They can fit well with 25 to 28 mm scale game miniatures as shown in the photos.

Urban Battlefield Hasty Barricade Fences Using Scrap Metals 25-28 mm Scale War Game Terrain
War zones are pure chaos. Nothing is very neat on the battlefield, whether it be in the middle of an urban population center or in the middle of a distant jungle. Troops are often forced to use whatever material is lying about the debris to fashion needed constructs.
Here are some simple urban barricades made from bits of scrap metal sheets.
A simple post fence provides the support skeleton.
Various metal sheets are then salvaged from the surrounding debris to form a skin, giving defending troops some degree of protection.
Easy to throw together with available materials, these fences can be erected throughout a battlefield in a reasonably short time, creating obstacles that enemy fighters must overcome.
These barricades are designed for 25 to 28-mm scale miniatures. Each terrain piece measures about 6 inches (150 mm) in length.

New Additions to the Mad Scientist's Laboratory Equipment 25-28 mm Scale Scenery Pieces
It has been awhile since I showed any of the lab equipment for the mad scientist, so here are a few recent scenery pieces.
First up is a larger containment unit:
The tall tower allows the scientist to capture and process various experimental gases, energy plasmas, and so on.
The unit is approximately 4-3/4 inches (120 mm) tall, with a base measuring 3 x 3 inches (75 x 75 mm).
Next we have a lab power generator station with a pair of energy pylons and control console.
Finally, here are a few small lab units.
All are designed for use with 25 to 28mm scale game miniatures. In addition to the mad scientist's laboratory, these scenery pieces can be used in various science fiction and horror game settings.

Shades of Stonehenge Stone Arch Megalith Standing Stones Fantasy War Game Terrain
The wind blows relentlessly across the desolate open plain. A rocky megalith rises from the lonely ground.
In the spirit of the historical Stonehenge site in England, a heavy stone lintel rests atop two thick rock pillars.
Obviously man-made, but why was it constructed?
Perhaps carved by human cultists as part of a shrine to some Elder God?
Or maybe it marks a center for powerful ley lines used in magical incantations.
Then again, it may be an astronomical device used to mark the passing of the seasons.
This terrain piece could act as a landmark in your gaming world. It would fit in with many game genres including fantasy, horror, pulp and even science fiction set on another planet.
Scaled for 25 to 28 mm miniature figures. The piece stands about 3-1/4 inches (65 mm) tall with a base measuring 5-1/2 x 4 inches (140 x 100 mm).

Ruined Buildings Wall Sections Post Apocalypse War Game Terrain
Where once a thriving community stood, only the dry husks of dead buildings remain in the post apocalyptic landscape. Damaged by blast and fire, only bare walls stand in the strewn rubble.
These war game terrain pieces represent the remaining walls and foundations of buildings. They offer some small cover to survivors and warring troops.
The first piece stands approximately 2 inches (50 mm) tall on a base that is 7-3/4 x 6 inches (200 x 150 mm).
The second piece is about 2 inches (50 mm) tall. The base is 7-1/2 x 6 inches (195 x 150).
Designed for use with 25 to 28 mm scale miniatures. These terrain pieces would fit in with many modern, post apocalypse, horror and science fiction war games.
