Mad Scientist's Telescope for 25-28mm Steampunk Pulp or Fantasy Miniatures

Every evil scientist should keep an eye on the sky. Just to check on what may be happening in the nearby galactic neighborhood. You never know when an approaching meteor might offer a chance to collect some rare supermetal from a new crater. Or perhaps the approach of an extraterrestrial spaceship might bring you new technology (even an alien invasion has the potential for expanding your knowledge).

So no laboratory would be complete without a telescope. This scenery piece could be just what you are looking for.

The telescope stands about 2-1/8 inches (54 mm) tall. The base is 1-1/4 inches (32 mm) in diameter. It would be at home in the laboratory of 20th Century mad scientist, a 19th Century Steampunk inventor, even a medieval wizard. In this case, I have chosen to paint the scenery piece in a variety of metallic colors.

Large Standing Stone Head Idols for 25-28 mm Miniature Gaming

Looming out of the swirling mists in a remote valley, large stylized heads carved from local rock stand silently. They stand unmovable, watching... and perhaps waiting.

Who knows what purpose these statues are intended for. Are they tribute to some forgotten deity? Or do they mark a significant geographical location, possibly announcing the boundary of an ancient society?

They can be used in a wide variety of miniature gaming situations. For fantasy settings, they can be a shrine to a particular god. In action adventure pulp games, they can indicate the location of a forgotten treasure site. From a science fiction perspective, they could be the remains of an ancient interstellar race.

These scenery pieces stand about 2-1/2 inches (64 mm) tall. Their bases measure 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) in diameter.
